This is the 2nd Princess casino you will find in Paramaribo, the old Princess casino on Zwartenhovenbrug Street has been around for many years, more about this later.
At the Princess Paramaribo Casino, you will find no less than 320 slot machines, you can also taste your luck at 4 roulette tables and they have no less than 7 Baccarat tables, we have counted 4 blackjack tables and also 2 poker tables.
While playing you can enjoy delicious food from the buffet which is simply brought to you, they also bring a nice drink to you at the slot machine or roulette table.

Atlantis Paramaribo Casino
The Atlantis casino of Pasha Global can be found at Kwattaweg 244 in Paramaribo, this fairly new Paramaribo casino gives a good impression when you walk in, it is a nice fresh casino with modern slots.
Most slots are from EGT and Novostar, but we also see slots from IGT and Bally among them. In total, you will find 250 slot machines and 12 table games such as blackjack and roulette.
There is ample parking space to the right of the casino and you will also find VIP parking opposite the casino. You will not be short of food and drink at the Atlantis Paramaribo casino, while playing they will bring plates with food and someone will regularly ask if we want to drink something.

The Riviera Paramaribo Casino at the Marriot hotel looks super nice from the outside as if you are standing in Las Vegas with its beautiful lights. When you enter, however, the casino is quite disappointing, but thanks to the 2 floors that this casino has, there are plenty of playing options.
We estimate that there are about 200 slot machines spread over the 2 floors and we see various gaming tables including roulette, blackjack, and baccarat.

Queens Paramaribo casino is the neighbor of the Princess casino and is therefore located at Kleinewaterstraat 13-15, Paramaribo. This casino is a nice casino to start the evening. Friendly staff and as we are used to, you can also get good food and a drink here.
They have 145 slot machines and 5 gaming tables. Queens Paramaribo Casino is part of the Pasha Global Group. Queens Paramaribo Casino is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 AM and on weekends until 6:00 AM.
Tropicana Paramaribo Casino
The Tropicana Paramaribo casino is also part of the Pasha Global Group, if you walk into this casino at 17 Saramaccastraat, you will imagine yourself in downtown Las Vegas, the atmosphere and construction of the casino make us think as if we entered a casino in Fremont Street. A cozy bar in the middle of the casino with 14 gaming tables and 250 slot machines around it.
Tropicana Paramaribo Casino is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 AM and on weekends until 6:00 AM.
Old Torarica Paramaribo Casino (closed)
In the Torarica hotel at Rietbergplein 1, you will find a small casino, in this Paramaribo casino, you will not see gaming tables but only slot machines.

General information about Paramaribo Casinos
The proliferation of Paramaribo casinos started in the late 1990s, during the Wijdenbosch government. There are now around 30 casinos in all of Suriname and the state appears to be happy with it as long as they fill the state coffers with the casino tax. For example, a casino must pay 1200 euros per year per slot machine and pay 10,000 euros in casino tax per roulette table.
Furthermore, it is cheaper for the population to go to the casino for a night than a night out (provided they do not lose much of course) this is because you can eat and drink for free at the casinos. Paramaribo Casinos are used by many elderly to meet again and because the casino lures players with free buffets and free drinks, this also happens on a large scale.
